The cradle of Barolo is the 11 municipalities of the Langhe, located in a protected area on all sides, surrounded by the Alpine chain from North, West and South.
It is an optimal climate for growing grapes.
The conformation of the ground is very heterogeneous, it passes from the calcareous-clayey of Elvezian origin to the most marly and sandy type of Tortonian, and that is what broadly differentiates the wine, with the due nuances, between robust body and soft tannin.
