Verdicchio San Michele Bonci 2022
Wine obtained from the vinification of the grapes of a vineyard located in the district "San Michele". The happy south exposure and the 400 mt. of height create a particularly good microclimate for the production of quality grapes. A distinctive feature of this area is the remarkable thermal contrast that is created between day and night in the last stage of ripening of the grapes thus ensuring the stability of aromatic precursors which give elegance and refinement to the wine. The low yield per hectare, plant age, and the clonal varieties of verdicchio create the ideal prerequisites for producing this "cru".
Bonci
The Bonci brothers start their activities in the early twentieth century in Cupramontana, but it is with the next generation, the one of Giuseppe, in which the company assumes the name of Vallerosa. The farm still holds thirty hectares of land, of which 26 are of wineyards, with an average altitude of 450 meters above sea level. The production, however, well differentiated, is mainly based on Verdicchio, alongside Rosso Piceno with a geographical typical indication.
