Luigi Pira's Barbera d'Alba comes from a vineyard planted in Roddino in 2000, on a surface of 2 hectares with clayey calcareous soil. A beautiful vineyard exposed to the South-West and positioned at 420 meters above sea level. The vinification of Barbera d'Alba Superiore takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for about 15-18 days. The aging is traditional, in 25 hl Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months.

Three Senses
At sight, Barbera presents itself as an intense ruby ​​red. On the nose it is an elegant wine, with a nice balance between oak spices and wild berries. On the palate it is characterized by its acidity, lively, but well-balanced. It is an enveloping wine, with great fullness of flavor.
