Luigi Pira's Barbera d'Alba comes from a vineyard planted in Roddino in 2000, on a surface of 2 hectares with clayey calcareous soil. A beautiful vineyard exposed to the South-West and positioned at 420 meters above sea level. The vinification of Barbera d'Alba Superiore takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for about 15-18 days. The aging is traditional, in 25 hl Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months.
