Rum Nation Demerara Solera n.14 was born in English Guiana from the skilful blending of rum from the distillation of molasses. It is a blend from continuous distillation, to add richness of body, and from the column, to add a lighter touch and a soft drinkability. It ages mainly in Bourbon barrels and 12 months in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso barrels. This choice allows you to have a creamy sweetness and at the same time give a spicy character. At the end a small portion of very old Enmore rum is added for added complexity.
Three Senses
On the nose smoky hints of barbeque, then cinnamon, black pepper, orange peel and a hint of honey. Then come wood, coffee, bitter chocolate, licorice and anise. Excellent complexity and richness of taste accompanied by a soft but not cloying palate. Pungent, velvety and caressing.
Rum Nation
Rum Nation, born in 1999 from an idea of Fabio Rossi after having gathered all the experience gained in years of research, of rigorous selection, of accurate tastings among the Tropic of Cancer and the equator.
The spirits are bought young and aged first at the production sites, where the tropical heat favors the formation of sweet and fruity aromas, then they arrive in Europe, where the cooler temperatures ensure one slower and gradual evolution.
The purpose of Rum Nation has remained unchanged: to unite a selection of the best rums from different nations under a single series, recognizable even by the place of origin postmark on the label.
