Cerasuolo D'Abruzzo Valentini 2022
After a very brief maceration it is fermented in 35hl barrels and is matured here.
Camillo Valentini receives for the quality of its wines a first official recognition as early as 1868. This Montepulciano cerasuolo presents an important color, evolved and loaded. The nose is known as the "valentiniana" imprint, a palpable substance already at the first breath, a rough and deep complexity, to be measured slowly in the olfactory approach, letting the wine breathe, allowing the right opening to the fruit and letting off the known characteristics reduction. In the mouth does not grant any hesitation, enters robust and gritty invading the palate without half measures: a solid structure made of fleshy fruits, savory and mineral depth, buttresses of right acidity and alcoholic warmth, spe- cial variety and freshness. Leave your mouth enveloped in intense and articulate flavors.
The Valentini family owns the homonymous farm in the province of Pescara, since the middle of the seventeenth century. The production is focused on Trebbiano and Montepulciano, cereals and oil and on livestock breeding. Currently the company, which in 2011 was elected wine producer of the year by the "Vini d'Italia" wine guide, is managed by Francesco Paolo Valentini.
