The planting of the Verdicchio Priore vineyard dates back to 1970 on an area of 5 ha. Harvesting is done manually, in boxes and with careful selection of the grapes. After soft pressing of the grapes, fermentation takes place in steel tanks. The same steel tanks are then also used for aging, which lasts 6 to 8 months. Bottle aging lasts 4 months.

Frati Bianchi takes its name from the ancient Hermitage that stands right next to the vineyards and gave rise to the spread of vine culture. The label, hand-drawn by Cinzia Tonini, wife of Giuseppe Sparapani, tells of the Prior of the hermitage on Mount San Vicino that benevolently dominates the Verdicchio production area and, above all, of his love for this lush territory.

Three Senses
A true Verdicchio with an intense, crystalline color, with hues that fade from greenish to the warmest gold. The nose is intense, complex with scents floating between pulpy fruits, to acacia flowers, with notes of toasted almonds and citrus. A wine with good texture, enveloping, typical of the production area, Cupramontana, whose origin is revealed on the finish with its deep minerality.

Sparapani

In the heart of the Marche region, the Hermitage of the White Friars is an enchanted place. An ancient Camaldolese monastic complex with caves carved out of the tufa that preserves intact the magic of time and traditions. Here the truly uncontaminated nature has welcomed and protected over the centuries the prayer and work of the

"White Friars", that is they mainly occupied forest agronomy and agriculture. From this place where peace and silence reign, the farmers of the district inherited love for the cultivation of the vine. And this magical place has inspired the Sparapani family to make great wines, the result of work and passion.

The goal of quality without compromise. The 12 hectares of Verdicchio vine of property do the rest. Verdicchio has a white berry and is grown exclusively in Le Marche region, with Cupramontana as its capital. It is a generous, versatile grape, capable of producing, vinified in purity, both fresh wines and very structured wines capable of remarkable longevity. It is also used to produce sparkling wines, both classic and Charmat methods, always of great value. The Sparapani vineyards also enjoy an ideal microclimate, of the right altitude and of a particularly favorable terrain. The natural qualities of these elements are finally enhanced by the constant scientific control of all stages of maturation, and by the careful selection guaranteed by manual harvesting.
