This wine comes from Montepulciano grapes vinified in purity in one of the most suitable areas of all the Marches, in the heart of Italy, on the gentle hills of the Ascoli, three hundred meters above sea level. The vines have an average age of about 35 years on a clayey subsoil. The end result is a rich and full-bodied product that is good for aging.

Three Senses

Impenetrable ruby red, it reveals itself on the nose with herbaceous and bell pepper scents, followed by definite fruity notes of plum and morello cherry. In the mouth it is rich and soft, the tannin sweet and smooth. Hints of mint and licorice characterize a long, lingering finish

My grandfather Nazzareno when washing his face was careful not to swallow even a drop of water, in fact since he was a boy the only liquid he had sent down was wine,

only wine, peasant wine that was made alone , in times free of professional enotecologists.
My other grandfather Giuseppe also made wine himself and my father Gaspare was not less. Could I stop the tradition? Never!
