Rubico is a Lacrima di Morro d'alba DOC, the vineyards of this natives grapes are situated in Morro d'Alba at 180 mt above sea level, the soil are mixed, mostly clay. The grapes are handly harvested about half of september in small crates, then 20% of the whole-cluster are fermented with carbonic maceration and 80% are classic fermented on the skins in stainless steel tanks. Aging is done in stainless steel tanks for 6 months and others 2 months in bottle.

The Marotti Campi company is located on the hill of Sant'Amico, just outside the historic center of Morro d'Alba, in a beautiful nineteenth century manor house. The company consists of about 120 hectares of which 52 are planted with vines. About 44 hectares are cultivated with native vines, Lacrima and Verdicchio, There are also international vines such as Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon, in addition to Montpulciano. The nearby cellar is a modern structure built in 1999 in the industrial area of Sant'Amico.
