Nobile Di Montepulciano Riserva Canneto 2015
Traces of the great reputation and appreciation for the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano are already found in the annals of 790. This excellent wine was therefore discovered centuries ago and was also sold outside Montepulciano. The name Nobile probably derives from the times when quality wines were reserved for noble families. The Noble knew how to preserve the particular touch of class until the present day: in 1980, the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano was among the first Italian flagship wines to obtain the DOCG denomination. The maturation time of Vino Nobile in wooden barrels is established in at least two years. After three years of aging the Vino Nobile can bear the denomination "Riserva". Despite being a traditional wine, Nobile di Montepulciano is a modern wine. In fact, few other Italian wines of the last few years have known a significant development of such quality as to create an international name.
Canneto
FROM SWITZERLAND TO MONTEPULCIANO
In the 70s of the twentieth century, some wine enthusiasts in Switzerland began to buy the "table wine" of Montepulciano. after a few months, the enthusiasts increased in number and a desire to buy a farm came out.
At the end of the 80's the time came: in Montepulciano there was a promising sale. The enthusiasm for Noble of Montepulciano and the projects convinced the owner to sell to us his farm. In Zurich Canneto AG was created, and the Canneto Farm located in Montepulciano was acquired.
