George Roumier
The first bottles in the Domaine George Roumier (founded in 1924) are already in the post-war period. His nephew Christophe today is the only manager of the company, with her thirty-year experience cultivating the properties of Domaine. He has been able to appreciate the great talents, the resources of elegance and sensuality so typical of Chambolle Musigny's wines, leaving the delicate profile of the first years of wine in the bottle being sustained by a solid potential for aging. Thanks tp the climats owned by the family that is counted in four different Grands Crus plus a part of Bonnes Mares and some of the most celebrated Premiers Crus identified in 12 hectares. Everything at the Domaine follows the directions and rules of Christophe, an enologist who graduated in the Digione School, carrying a technical awareness. His wines reflect the style, always accurate and scrupulous, in search of harmony and expressive equilibrium.
