This now famous company is located on the high Oslavia ridge that from the bridge of the Isonzo ascends towards San Floriano, in the heart of the Collio. It consists of about ten hectares of vineyards near the company headquarters and set on steep slopes. The treatments are reduced to the minimum necessary and consist only of those natural products and therefore no synthetic product is used, such as herbicides, systemic phytosanitary products, insecticides, synthetic fertilizers. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, stored in boxes and brought to the cellar. Fermentation occurs spontaneously only with the yeasts already present on the grapes. When the alcoholic fermentation ends, the peels are no longer pushed up by the carbon dioxide that the fermentation itself produces and settles gradually on the bottom. The long macerations involve a greater extraction also due to the alcohol and for this reason the wines are of a very intense color and contain the natural antioxidants necessary for their conservation, without the need of other chemical preservatives such as sulfur dioxide.
