Brut Capinera is made from chardonnay and pinot bianco grown on the vineyards of Monte Orfano on gravelly soils. After fermentation in steel, the wine is aged for 6 months and then left to rest for 24 months on the lees.
Brut dedicated to a small bird, La Capinera, which often used to perch on the vine leaves of the vineyards behind the house in fine weather. Very fine perlage in a straw-yellow texture with slightly golden streaks. On the nose you can savor fresh but intense notes of Mediterranean citrus and crisp yellow fruit: cedar, orange, lemon and then more distinct aromas such as moss, spearmint, and almost balsamic thyme. On the palate you can enjoy a facet of sensations harmonized very well in the body of the wine: the perfect synthesis of its accents makes its taste approach seductive. A full-bodied, mealtime Franciacorta, without ever losing its innate elegance and freshness. (Dosage 7g/l)
Vigneti Cenci
The Cenci vineyards rise at the foot of Monte Orfano in Cologne, in the southernmost part of Franciacorta.
The secret of their wines? Monte Orfano, its "terroir" and its climate that, together with Pinot Blanc, are the essential elements at the base of Franciacorta.
The minerality of Monte Orfano and the sunny, windy and dry climate allow the grapes of the Cenci Vineyards, and in particular the Pinot Blanc, to express their best, guaranteeing the floral and fruity scents that make wines unique.
Mineral and mature wines, with a persistent taste and fresh and fruity aromas.
