The Marche Rosso K'Un rises on soils composed of yellow sands and with a good presence of clay, facing south with a gradient of more than 10%.
The type of farming is spurred cordon, for an annual production of 50 q / hectare. Last red berried grape to be harvested (end of October beginning of November) is fermented in steel and then evolved in barrique for about 20
months.
Intense red color almost impenetrable, it presents olfactory sensations typical of the varietal with red fruits, blackberries, currants, ripe strawberries, citrus with vegetable and menthol alternations. In the mouth it is full, soft, full-bodied, but with a good medium acidity and a very long finish. A rich aroma of underbrush fruits are a prelude to a plunge into Marche's Montepulciano. Wood complements the sweet tannin structure.....what a pleasure to chew.
Clara Marcelli
In the Marche's microclimate just between the Apennines and the Adriatic coast, Clara Marcelli owns 35 hectares of hilly terrain, of which 14 are planted with grapes. The wine is produced by the only vineyards, cultivated under a certified organic regime, with the aim of offering a real product, symbol and summary of the people and traditions of the earth. The harvest is handmade, as it once was, by selecting the cluster grapes on each plant. The passion for quality wines combines the company life with the one of the nearby Marco Casolanetti, Oasi degli Angeli, who works as a consultant both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
