On the banks of the river on sandy soils are the vineyards of the most iconic and revolutionary Domaine in the area, Domaine de L'anglore. Eric is a winemaker capable of giving a brighter color to rosés than anyone else and a very modern and fascinating style of wine.
Domaine De L'Anglore is Eric Pfifferling, a nice vintner, who loves nature thanks to the bees. The Domaine now has 10 hectares in the municipality of Tavel, between Avignon and Uzes. The soils are mainly calcareous clay, composed of sandy and stony structures. Grapes, cinsault, clairette, carignan, mourvèdre, sirah are cultivated in the vineyards. Eric Pfifferling, a supporter of organic farming, has recently gained certification for his bottles. The vintage is hand-picked, the bunches are placed in cassettes. After a initial maceration, the wine making is carried out with a whole grain for carbonated maceration. Eric Pfifferling today stands at the top of the qualitative pyramid in France of wines obtained according to this process. The wines are not filtered, they are laid out to leave their natural properties intact. In the wines of Eric Pfifferling, the maker's excellence is highlighted, which in this country of aggressive red and red roses creates delicate finery of masterpieces.
