The Col di Corte cellar is extended over 12 ha of land in the city of Montecarotto, in the heart of the verdicchio of the Castelli di Jesi denomination. The project was born recently, by the passion of three friends, who takes over vineyards and winery of a company already named Laurentina. At the head of the group there is Giacomo Rossi, At the head of the group there is Giacomo Rossi, a dynamic character in the cinema world, with a look at viticulture (his production of Jonathan Nossiter's Natural Resistance film).
Giacomo, along with the others, has a clear idea of how to set the job: conversion to organic from 2015, first biodynamic treatments in 2016, spontaneous fermentation on all vintage wines from 2016, divided vinification to highlight the whole verdicchio territory. Overall Col di Corte manages 6 hectares in Verdicchio, 2 of Lacrima, 2 of Montepulciano, 2 of Sangiovese for a total production of about 40,000 bottles.
