Chateau Lafite Rothschild Pauillac 2013
The famous Lafite Rothschild cru has distant origins and a renowned reputation. It occupies the most beautiful side of Pauillac and since the Middle Ages the extracted wine has always been named "Princes des Vignes". The bouquet of Lafite wines is of incomparable sovavità and delicacy. Always present on the tables of the Kings of France, the wine and the Chateau Lafite have seen several owners follow each other throughout the centuries, until being re-bought in 1868 by Baron Rothschild and the family still owning it. "It has a sweeter fragrance than the new rose, a sparkle brighter than a ray of sunshine" is the jargon that brings this unique inimitable Premiers Grand cru Classes to the world.
Chateau Lafite Rotschild always has a distinguishable scent of violet that distinguishes it along with a fine taste of almond. This 2014 has a huge tension, a rich tannin and an important structure. At this moment the wine is rich in fruit and concentrated flavors of blackberries and plums. A wine that can be stored for a long period of time.
