The famous Lafite Rothschild cru has distant origins and a renowned reputation. It occupies the most beautiful side of Pauillac and since the Middle Ages the extracted wine has always been named "Princes des Vignes". The bouquet of Lafite wines is of incomparable sovavità and delicacy. Always present on the tables of the Kings of France, the wine and the Chateau Lafite have seen several owners follow each other throughout the centuries, until being re-bought in 1868 by Baron Rothschild and the family still owning it.
