The Negroamaro grapes of Francesco Marra grow on red soil rich in clay, iron and potassium, but poor in organic matter, where the long summer high temperatures and relentless droughts make enough the vine to allow them to express themselves with dense red wines, complex, salty, rich in the south. The grapes brought into the cellar are made to grow with their own yeasts and let them ripen on the lees for about a year. After that the wine is put into the bottle.

Three Senses

The result of this patient work is a wine of absolute dynamism. All the expressive power of a grape variety is packed into so much substance and lightness. High but nonexistent alcohol content in the glass, supported by a felicitous acidity that balances hard and soft substances. A wine of fine and refined character, of which we thank Francesco for an interpretation close to Nordic finesse.
