Bourgogne Rouge Sous Montot David Moreau 2021
Burgundy at first time, coming from the vineyards closest to Haut Cotes. David Moreau elaborates this cuvée and an expression of the vine, perfectly centered on this hot and intense fruit millesima.
This special cuvée is dense and mellow, cranberry and blackberry. Aged in oak barrels (1/3 new oak), it is complex and precise in the mouth. It can be stored for the next 12 years.

The Domaine Moreau has been active since the mid-20th century and counts an area of 9 hectares. David Moreau now is managing about 5 hectares of vineyard. Young vigneron (enology diploma in 2009) works with vineyards village and 1er cru mainly in the municipality of Santenay. David before taking over the family Domain, took important experiences at the Château de Beaucastel and in New Zealand. In Borgogna he had fundamental experiences at the Domaine Hubert Lamy in Saint Aubin and dulcis in fundo at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.
Domaine's musts are strict, respectful of the environment and humans, the fundamental point arethe preservation of the integrity of bunches arriving in the cellar, physically controlled macerations day by day and alcoholic fermentations with indigenous yeasts.
