Brunello di Montalcino Le Ragnaie 2018
Brunello di Montalcino Le Ragnaie is in sitle with the classicism of Montalcino. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in cement with long macerations, aging in large wooden barrels. The vines have an average age of 25 years and come from the Montalcino central area, at an altitude of 550 to 600 meters above sea level.
Le Ragnaie
The Ragnaie farm was bought in 2002 by Riccardo and Jennifer Campinoti, with a precise idea of parcel selection, all to be defined in this spelndido central territory of Montalcino, with an altitude of 600 meters. The acqusitate vineyards date back to a 1987 plant, with an average age of about 40 years. With this heritage and a position that allows harvesting in October, Riccardo opted for a minimum intervention in the cellar, looking for spontaneous fermentation on indigenous yeasts, in cement tanks, refining in wine in large wooden barrels. All this explains the refinement of Le Ragnaie wines.
