Also for the red of Valtellina collects the grapes in cassette, then he leave them to ferment spontaneously, he macerates them for 4-5 days in troncoconico tin wood. The wine is then refined in 50 hl barrels for 12 months. Prior to the commercial release it rests for 6 months in the bottle. An answer to those who think that Red Valtellina is a banal drink.

In 1984 Arturo Pelizzatti Perego, strong of the experience obtained in the farm with in his father and grandfather, decided to give life to ARPEPE in order to bring out the full potential of a unique terroir like the Valtellina. With all the pride and tenacity necessary for such a target, he began producing age Nebbioli following the rules of the pi & ugrave; ancient tradition. Today Isabella, Emanuele and Guido carry on his father's work. In a few years, thanks to careful technological innovations and the selection of a young staff Arturo's dream has come true: his precious and limited production is now back to being a reference in the national and international wine scene.
