The primitive is collected within the estate that extends for twenty-two hectares of vineyards on the red lands of Salento Lecce. The farm of Francesco Marra is located in the countryside of Ugento, about 10 km from the Ionian Sea and is conducted in organic. A part of the grapes, harvested and selected, ferments spontaneously in 15 hl wooden vats; the wine is refined in steel and is bottled without adding sulfur dioxide.

Three Senses

Francesco Marra's Primitivo is soft and persuasive, free and ample, with a line of oxidation that brings it closer to the sea and embellishes it with a saline touch. The rounder and inevitably riper part recalls the pleasantness of the grape variety and the place.
