The Campo Rotaliano is a well-defined geographical unit: a sort of recess of the Valle dell'Adige, wedged between the mountains. Its history and its formation are linked to the river Noce, which dragged with it over the centuries limestone, granite and porphyritic detritus. Within this small plain, depending on the more or less high quantity of the skeleton content of the soils, there are different micro zones to which the winemakers gave different names. It is from the assembly of the grapes of some of these micro zones, characterized by predominantly sandy soils and with different quality requirements, that the "Foradori" is born.
The Sgarzon vineyards are located in the Municipality of Mezzolombardo Campazzi, Settepergole and other sites
