Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Valle Reale is elaborated as to be regulated with Montepulciano which is vinified in white with contact of the skins for a few hours. The vineyards of origin of the grapes are the beautiful environments where Valle REale is located, or in the intersection of the three Abruzzo parks: the Gran Sasso National Park and the Monti della Laga to the north, the Majella National Park to the south and the Regional Natural Park del Sirente-Velino to the north west. The fermentation of the grapes takes place in steel containers with indigenous yeasts. With the pié de Couve technique, several concomitant fermentations are completed, to then create a single cut that makes up the vintage Cerasuolo. Developed for the table and supported by the strength and substance of Montepulciano.

Three Senses
Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Valle Reale remarks in color and aroma where the wine gets its name from. The typical cherry skin color, with the red fruit also recalled on the nose along with berries. The structure of Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo is well known and here it comes through with a dry taste and consistent volume.

Valle Reale

Valle Reale Farm is located in the mountains of Abruzzo in the heart of the most beautiful national parks of the Heart of Italy. The 46 hectares of vineyards are located in the Gran Sasso National Park, the Majella Park and the Laga Park. The magical environment  characterizes wines, in a natural context of temperature range and lean and pebbly soils with medium and small rocks. The company is entirely under organic farming, including in the fruit and vegetable growing sector. Leonardo Pizzolo has launched this project, thinking exclusively of a farming of essential and respectful biodynamic philosophies. The vineyards are subdivided into small plots of real cru, which are individually vinified to enhance the peculiarities of wine. As the estate took its name from the route the royal family used to go hunting, the vineyards named Popoli, the Vineyard of Convento di Capestrano, San Calisto, take their name from their place of origin.
