The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Valle Reale lets mountain air breathe. The pebbly soils where the vineyards stand are exposed to the North East with high thermal excurations between day and night, which favors a perfect aromaticity to the wine. Fermentation as with other Valle Reale wines takes place with indigenous yeasts. This Montepulciano ages in steel to maintain the fragrance of the grape.

Three Senses
The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Valle Reale has an almost impenetrable ruby color, which reveals itself only in a violet nail.A very intense nose opens, registering sharp mineral notes of graphite and dark fruit, blackberry in primis, and drawing on the background slightly balsamic nuances. The gustative attack is always very soft and enveloping also thanks to the sweetness of the tannins. Valle Reale

Valle Reale Farm is located in the mountains of Abruzzo in the heart of the most beautiful national parks of the Heart of Italy. The 46 hectares of vineyards are located in the Gran Sasso National Park, the Majella Park and the Laga Park. The magical environment  characterizes wines, in a natural context of temperature range and lean and pebbly soils with medium and small rocks. The company is entirely under organic farming, including in the fruit and vegetable growing sector. Leonardo Pizzolo has launched this project, thinking exclusively of a farming of essential and respectful biodynamic philosophies. The vineyards are subdivided into small plots of real cru, which are individually vinified to enhance the peculiarities of wine. As the estate took its name from the route the royal family used to go hunting, the vineyards named Popoli, the Vineyard of Convento di Capestrano, San Calisto, take their name from their place of origin.
