The Tavel Denomination comes from the Vallée du Rhone and precisely from that area of the Rhone river, between Chateauneuf du Pape and Avignon. All the wines produced with this appellation are Rosè. Also Eric Pfifferling proposes his version working with grapes over 60 years of age, which arise on sandy soils. This Vintage cuvée comes from a unique terroir. In fact, the vines of Grenache, Cinsault, Clairette, Carignan and Mourvèdre, about 70 years old, were planted in parcel section. The Tavel selection was born only in the best vintages and aged for over 12 months in a 600 liter demi-muide.

Three Senses
Eric Pfifferling elaborates this cuvée with the intention of imparting richness, elegance and good aging capacity to a wine already rich in floral, spicy and minty notes. The nose also gives notes of sweet cherry along with light plum. The finish is long with tannins that indicate good potential for aging. This is an excellent wine that is unlike any other Tavel.

Domaine De L'Anglore

Domaine De L'Anglore

Domaine De L'Anglore is Eric Pfifferling, a nice vintner, who loves nature thanks to the bees. The Domaine now has 10 hectares in the municipality of Tavel, between Avignon and Uzes. The soils are mainly calcareous clay, composed of sandy and stony structures. Grapes, cinsault, clairette, carignan, mourvèdre, sirah are cultivated in the vineyards. Eric Pfifferling, a supporter of organic farming, has recently gained certification for his bottles. The vintage is hand-picked, the bunches are placed in cassettes. After a initial maceration, the wine making is carried out with a whole grain for carbonated maceration. Eric Pfifferling today stands at the top of the qualitative pyramid in France of wines obtained according to this process. The wines are not filtered, they are laid out to leave their natural properties intact. In the wines of Eric Pfifferling, the maker's excellence is highlighted, which in this country of aggressive red and red roses creates delicate finery of masterpieces.
