Pietracupa

Pietracupa is one of the main wineries in the province of Avellino, is led by Sabino Loffredo who, with Raffaele Troisi of Vadiaperti and Antoine Gaita of Villa Diamante, composes the trio of wonders of the hill of Montefredane.

The company was founded in the early '90s and was run by Peppino Loffredo until '99 when Sabino, an eccentric, maniacal and excellent taster, took over.

Not only Fiano, of course. The Greco Campania of Pietracupa has always established itself as one of the best and most reliable of the denomination over the years, sometimes surpassing its bulky cousin for quality.

In general, white wines represent the soul of the producer.

The grapes come from the neighbouring town of Prata and Santa Paolina. Irpinia, which has always been an area with a high wine vocation, offers wines with incredible nuances and great expressions of longevity.
