Kavalan is located in the Yilan region and owes its name to the ancient tribe that populated this region, the Kavalan. The distillery today has a production capacity of 9 million liters per year and despite being one of the great whiskey distilleries in the world, it produces only single malt of recognized quality. No added caramel and a large number of special bottles have elevated it in a few years in the Olympus of the great whiskeys.
Three Senses
Liquid amber, deep cleanliness on the nose despite the extreme breadth of the bouquet. A thousand facets, from flowers to green apple to tropical fruit. Deep and balanced, this is a bold whisky with character. Vanilla, papaya, coconut are just some of the tones on which the palate dances. A whisky or a work of art.
