Only 4666 bottles produced of this phenomenal pinot noir from two separate vineyards both at 550 m above sea level, on clay and limestone soils. Beards are clones coming directly from Burgundy.

Vinification takes place with indigenous yeasts, 100% full-bunch carbon maceration with a skilful use of temperatures, once the fermentation is completed the aging provides for 10 months of exhausted wood French.

Three Senses

Spicy, savory and seductive, this wine has a mix of cherry and red fruits with a hint of underbrush and fern, delicately salty and decidedly earthy. The palate has a soft, smooth feel with a vibrant, silky core. Fresh, pure and delicious.

Ochota Barrels

Taras Ochota (known as The rockstar winemaker for his singing past) and his wife Amber are two wine and land-keen surfers as they are experienced farmers and nurseries.
Taras after consulting around the world (Italy, France, California, Sweden) decides to set up a company using the 9 hectares of Amber in basketball range, Adelaide.
Taras is a purist who makes ethics towards others his reason for life, so it is impossible to think of wines that are not the fruit of only grapes and love using all the criteria of biodnamica, these fabulous wines come from different areas with different exposures and terrain: McLaren Valley, Barossa Valley...
Ochota barrels works with grapes harvested much earlier than its neighbors, finds its style in freshness, tension and little concentration.
It has vineyards between 50 and 80 years of age and its Grenache, and Pinot Noir have nothing to envy to the French masters.
