Armagnac is the oldest brandy in France, known since the Middle Ages for its "therapeutic virtues". Located in Courrensan in BAS ARMAGNAC, the Maison Veuve Goudoulin was founded in 1935 by Jeanne Goudoulin, who already then owned a substantial stock of armagnac accumulated by herself and previous generations. From 1964 the House was directed by his nephew Christian Faure, until 2009, when it was acquired by Michel Miclo, who with his team renewed the will to preserve the authenticity and the recognized quality of Goudoulin products.

The Bas-Armagnac Goudoulin is obtained with traditional artisanal methods by the distillation of the best white wines of the region thanks to the use of the still "armagnacais", which has the particularity

Veuve Goudoulin - Courrensan - Gers

Armagnac Goudoulin was born in 1935 thanks to Jeanne Ménal Goudoulin. Jeanne Goudoulin married the owner of the Domaine de Bigor in Courrensan in 1908 and, after the death of her husband Joseph Goudoulin in 1925, began managing the Domaine de Bigor estate in Courrensan in Bas Armagnac on her own.

Having accumulated a large stock of Armagnac, herself and previous generations, she decided to start marketing it in 1935.

In 1964, grandson Christian Faure began to join his grandmother in the business and, in 1967, took over the company.

In 2009, after developing the business and reputation of the brand, Christian Faure retired. Michel Miclo, owner of the G. Miclo family distillery in Alsace, acquired Armagnacs Veuve Goudoulin and set up a team whose mission was to develop a new image for the brand while preserving the authenticity and recognized quality of Armagnacs.

Thanks to his large personal stocks, Armagnac Veuve Goudoulin presents very old vintages of remarkable quality, which will satisfy you as much for their finesse as for their aroma and bouquet, all from the best terroirs.
