Les Mugieres is the first cuvée of the Domaine Francis Boulard, coming from the clayey and limestone territories of the Vallée de La Marne and the Massif of Saint Thierry. This cuvée is made with 75% Pinot Meunier grapes from 35-year-old vines, then Chardonnay and a minimum of Pinot Noir. Like the other labels of the Domaine, the Murgieres is also certified organic.
Only the first pressing becomes part of this cuvée, vinified in small old wooden barrels. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation thanks to the use of indigenous yeasts only and malolactic carried out.
