Pomerol Grand Vin Chateau Nenin 2020
The Delon family, already owners of the Chateaux Leoville Las Cases and Potensac, bought Chateau Nenin from their cousin Despujol in 1997, making Nenin belong to the same family since 1840. The current Domaine covers about 34 hectares, of which 28 are destined to the vineyards with a beautiful 19th century house in the middle. The vineyard divided between 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc is planted on a soil of gravel and clay on the southern slope of the Pomerol plateau. A privileged position where the ideal exposure of the vine allows the perfect ripening of the bunches.
Nenin stands out for its fragrant, full-bodied, tasty and intense style in the mouth. A wine that needs time to express its ability to evolve being of a dynamic nature.
