The exaltation of the characteristics of Verdicchio in a version that is the result of attention in every step. The vines, conducted at low yields per vine, are harvested in boxes by hand. The techniques in the cellar involve soft pressing in the absence of oxygen, with clarification at low temperature. The free run must is tapped and fermented at a controlled temperature. Vinified and aged in steel, it is an excellent representation of one of the best white grape varieties in Italy, Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi.
The name of this wine, as Valentina herself tells us, was born during its first year of production. Vico, tasting this novelty (up to that time we had never produced a Classico Superiore), was surprised by the particular aromas of citrus and tropical fruit that were precisely "unusual" for a Verdicchio.
Straw yellow with greenish highlights, enhances notes of citrus, wild flowers and tropical fruit. The palate plays on flavor balance. Great body, it remains pleasantly soft on the palate but with a dry finish and a tantalising bitter aftertaste.
