Fondata da Pascal Dartigalongue sotto il regno di Luigi Filippo nel 1838 e tramandata di padre in figlio, la Maison Dartigalongue è oggi la più antica Casa produttrice di Bas Armagnac. La regione dell’Armagnac è situata nel cuore della Guascogna, nella zona Sud-Ovest della Francia. La Casa Dartigalongue ha sede a Nogaro, nel cuore del Bas Armagnac e distilla solamente vini di questa zona, è rinomata per la raffinatezza dei suoi cru.
Three Senses
A fascinating and complex Bas Armagnac, it beguiles the palate with a velvety texture with an intense and rich flavor. It recalls dried fruits marinated in honey, caramel and vanilla. In the deep amber color vibrates an ever-changing sensory complexity. Very long finish that accompanies with elegance.
Dartigalongue
It was 1838 when Pascal Dartigalongue moved to Nogaro, in the department of Gers, to embark on the dream of producing a quality Bas Armagnac. In 1870, he bought the vineyard that is still part of the company, 'lacroutz' in Salles d'Armagnac. To date, the company has passed on to subsequent generations but still boasts traditional production methods. Pierre Dartigalongue moved the distillery to Salles d'Armagnac in 1969 and since then the distillates are produced and aged in a two-storey cellar unusual for the time. Aging takes place in 400-liter oak barrels. In the best years are also produced the millesimates, coming from the only harvest.
