Provence wines
Provence inebriates you with the Mediterranean, and its wines do it too.
Notes of garrigues, aromatic herbs, rosemary, iodine, citrus and lavender make you long for a glass of Bandol with your eyes on the horizon.
The Aoc Bandol produces mainly rosés and reds made from Muovedre, Grenache Noir and Cinsault. Whites under the appellation are made from Ugni Blanc, Clairette grapes.
Other Aocs are Coteaux d'Aix En Provence, an area most suited for reds based on Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cinsault, Muovedre, Grenache. Palette, Côte de Provence and Cassis: the latter Aoc is more dedicated to the production of whites based on Clairette, Marsanne, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, etc.
