This box contains:

Saumur Les Pouches Blanc 2022: Chenin Blanc sourced from vineyards located in the municipality of Anjou, on sandy-clay soils on Jurassic-aged soil. The vines have an average age of 25 years. Aging lasted 18 months in new barrels.

Saumur Les Pouches Rouge 2021:  Saumur rouge from pure Cabernet Franc. The parcel is estate-owned, only 1 km from the winery, and boasts vines that are half 70 years old and a younger planting, about 20 years old. The soil is from the Jurassic period composed of sand and clay. The wine is the perfect balance between the youthful drive and poshness of the older vines, vinified without stems between conical wooden vats and concrete.

Peau Let 2022: white wine from Chenin grapes dedicated but also created by Pauline, wife and collaborator of Sylvain Dittière. The very name of the wine is a dedication to Pauline but not only. In fact, it also evokes the winemaking process the wine undergoes. The skins (peau in French) are left to macerate for 5 weeks. Then, for another 20 months, the wine ages in new barriques.
