Wine from a small 1,700 m² vineyard, a blend of white grapes vinified all together: Malvasia, Moscato, and Trebbiano di Modena, in varying proportions depending on the vintage. The grapes are hand-harvested in 250 kg perforated bins, destemmed separately from the others, and vinified as white wine. Fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged for 6 months in stainless steel and then 12 months in bottle before release.

Terre Vive - Gianluca Bergianti - Carpi

Bergianti cellar and a glass of Lambrusco

Gianluca Bergianti is a young winemaker, hungry for wine and thirsty for knowledge. In 2008, together with his wife Simona, he founded the Terrevive farm in the hamlet of Gargallo di Carpi, in the province of Modena. He has a clear vision and follows the principles of biodynamics without treating them as dogma. His main goal is the quality of the grapes he brings to the cellar. He judges his own wines and explores those of others. His work is driven by great enthusiasm, and his winery reflects both rationality and aesthetic taste. The wines are an expression of agricultural complexity; they are not the mere result of agronomic or oenological techniques, but the fruit of a living system that enhances their depth and diversity. Lambrusco can only be seen as the ideal companion for traditional Emilian cuisine.
