Zind Humbrecht
This Domaine was founded in 1959 when the estates of the two families Zind and Humbrecht merged, but among the members of the Humbrecht family we find winemakers already three centuries earlier, in fact there are records of them as far back as 1620. They were the first winery to use controlled fermentation temperatures in traditional oak barrels. Since 2000, production has been totally converted to biodynamic cultivation, certified by Ecocert. The 40 hectares owned by the Domaine have a maximum production of 180,000 bottles and are distributed over valuable land: Grand Cru Rangen de Thann, Grand Cru Brand, Grand Cru Hengst and Grand Cru Goldert, as well as Clos Windsbhul, Jebsal and Hauserer. Zind-Humbrecht is currently recognised as one of the greatest producers of white wines in the world, with bottles capable of thrilling the finest palates with an incredible ageing potential.
