Compagnie Des Indes
Compagnie des Indes was born from Florent Beuchet's dream of being able to offer a real journey into rums, with a selection of great selections from all over the world. In particular, Compagnie des Indes does not add additives or sugar to its products, but it is only the result of a restricted selection of single barrels or accurate mixtures, with a single common denominator: to maintain the character and original qualities of each individual country. The single casks come from Indonesia, Fiji or Guadeloupe. While the blends and refinements are studied and elaborated by Florent in his Jura region of France by adding sugar only in the Caraibes version. It is here that Florent indicates all his skills as a selector and refiner, just like a cheese refiner, inspired by the East India Company, which selected proven products from distant continents and imported them between the 17th and 18th centuries.
