Poderi San Lazzaro
Poderi San Lazzaro is located on a hilltop, 290m above sea level, immersed in the beautiful Marche landscape between the Adriatic Sea and the Apennines. The San Lazzaro is born in 2003, and is just the continuation of that family activity that sees in the vine and in the quality wine the expression of respect for the environment and the biological rhythms of plants. They used a biological approach since the first beginning, working in the fields has become more and more the main activity of the two spouses, Paolo Capriotti and Carosi Elisetta, who over the years have gained the necessary awareness to produce a true, non-standardized wine. The vineyards grow on predominantly clay soils, with an average age of 10 to 15 years for the Polesio and Podere 72 vineyards, while the Grifola reaches 40 years. They own Over 18 hectares, 15 are vines and 3 are olive trees and woods.
