Chateau La Grolet
Chateau La Grolet carries a choice of tradition and respect for the nature that led to the logical choice of adopting the biodynamic regime. Of the 50 hectares of property, 38 are vineyards and the rest form wild fields and forests, which has led the Domaine to be classified as a Wildlife Refuge. A first layer of gravel and mud covers the base of clay filled with silt. The continuous game of exchange between the soil levels and the deep and healthy roots of the vines leads to a great mineral complexity. Vineyards are planted on steep soils exposed to S-S-O and made up of 65% by Merlot, 30% old Sauvignon-Cabernet and 5% Malbec.
