Domaine de L'Octavin
The Domaine de L'Octavin was created in 2005 by Alice Bouvot and Charles Dagand. Today, the domaine counts about 4 hectares and a half. Their vineyards are certified by Demeter (biodynamic label) and most of the cuvée are vinified without sulfur. Alice studied at the University of Bordeaux and then at Dijion before embarking herself on a wine-making trip to Australia, New Zealand and Chile. When she returned to France she worked at some of the Domaine in Jura and then she decided to create her cellar. In the meantime Charles had only one project in his head: installing himself in the Jura to make extremely Bio wine. The match between the two represents the making of the Domaine de L'Octavin. In the Domaine, the agriculture is exclusively Biologic and biodynamic to look for the most representative wines of the territory, without the addition of artificial, sulphites , selected yeasts, and enzymes ..... etc. The list is long !!!!! All of this rapresent the lifestyle of Alice and Charles who just want to bottle the truth and give the drinker the emotion that only a good wine can give you!
