Bruno Clavelier
The Domaine is run by Bruno Clavelier, a former rugby player, in a biodynamic regime with competence and passion. The plants of the vines that Bruno has taken over from his grandfather date back mostly to the '30s and' 40s.
Raised alongside his maternal grandfather Joseph, after obtaining a diploma as oenologist in Dijon, Bruno was able to continue the long family tradition making it grow, passing in 1992, from the sale to the nigger to production on his own. Since then, maximum attention has been given to the care of the vines, because, as Bruno usually says with his frank smile when he talks about the characteristics of the different terroirs, the vigneron is a simple companion, the one who helps the plant to explore its environment to then restore its essence.
Its goal is not to obtain a wine with a certain gustatory profile, but to try to capture what each vineyard has given to each bunch in each year.
