Casalpriore

Gabriele Ronzoni of Casalpriore is a man who love experimenting, he has the rare awareness that he can still learn from his colleagues. He is 77 years old and every day he reborn child. From 1987 he bought a few hectares in the Stiolo area, between Reggio Emilia and Modena, not far from Campogalliano where his company is based. Until 2007 he produces for friends and relatives, being engaged as production manager for a ceramic company. Making wine for him is a ritual that binds him to the land and to the traditions of the area, wines and gastronomy. In 2010 he plants a vineyard of Lambrusco di Sorbara, Oliva and Ancellotta that are added to the Maestri, Salamino and Malbo gentile grapes of the old '60s' tented plant. In 2015 a new vineyard arrives, also composed here by 3 different clones of Lambrusco di Sorbara.
