Bellavista is right at the forefront with its anti- conformist and enterprising style, a style that continues to seek the essence of its true character in the deepest roots of this amazing land, with its truly unique climactic and geological features.
That’s the name we’ve given to this colourful idea in which our bubbles are clad. A New Air because the energy that surrounds Bellavista is a life-enhancing concept, a forward-looking spirit that we’ve always nurtured and that has made many dreams come true. Almost forty years on from the foundation of Bellavista, we felt the need to review how our image was portrayed and we have tried to achieve this while remaining faithful to the wine making and grape growing philosophy that is a trademark of our wines and their style.
The result is all summed up in the joyous moment when we make a toast, in the perfect harmony of the flavour and in the depth and expanse of how this is expressed. Nature, purity and truth. Courage, will and perseverance in finding new roads and new directions. Trust in man and in his potential. A sense of responsibility for the future so that we can guarantee continuity over different generations. This is what Bellavista is all about and this is the free spirit that we wish to convey with our new image, which abounds with joy, energy and colour – just like nature and just like the bubbles that fill our glasses with light. And in the air you can feel the very spirit that has always been what our dreams are made of.
The images have been created using artisan techniques that reflect our entrepreneurial culture and Italian tradition. They were created by a creative agency that specialises in projects that bring together the art world and the corporate values of businesses that have always stood out for their high-end products.
So let’s raise a glass and make our first toast to you with Bellavista Alma Cuvée, the Franciacorta wine which, in terms of quality and type, we think best represents the mysterious soul of the land of Franciacorta and the wine-making style of our cellar.
I’ve always known that I could only live to the full if I managed to fulfil my mind’s desires with my hands. If I was able to give expression to both, and could mould and transform matter like a sculptor. And only if I was to head confidently and unfalteringly down new, unexplored paths.
We are pure energy and our energy stems from our dreams. In my case, they always come to me before a project. If the dream is big enough, there’ll be enough energy. If the energy’s there, the ideas will follow, as will the right people to make them work, the design team, the competence and finally the essential material issues.
I dreamt of Bellavista while I imagined that Franciacorta was transformed by a product, wine, and that this product enhanced my homeland and arranged it. Vineyards are the only cultivations that shape the landscape and transform order into beauty. If the vineyard has no order, the wine will never be good and the more care that is put into a vineyard, the better the quality of its wine.
I then imagined the hardworking peace of the land and wanted to share this with my family and with my friends. And wine has performed this magic task because when we make a toast at the other side of the world, acquaintances are made and very often acquaintances become friends, and bonds are formed that last a lifetime. If a dream is already one half of reality, the other half can only be created if one is surrounded by worthwhile people and a family that keeps you feeling young.
That’s the profound essence of Bellavista: living and working around beauty and transforming this beauty into a product that is a blend of science and art, and is a drink (but most importantly a pleasure) that you can share with friends. And the ultimate privilege is being a craftsman of what’s beautiful and good. "
