In this company the tradition for viticulture has ancient, secular origins.

The Barolo land has always shown its vocation; It brings together the soil, the exposures, the altitude and the climate, the elements that make this area the terroir for Piedmontese vines.
But nature alone is not enough: it is necessary the careful and patient work of men who thanks to his craftsmanship allows every year the birth of large grapes.

Borgogno does not use herbicides, chemical fertilizers, managing the entire chain in a sustainable way.
This work makes possible to obtain an excellent grape, essential to produce quality wines.
The company has about 20 hectares. More than half is cultivated to Nebbiolo, the rest is divided between Dolcetto and Barbera.

The strong point of Borgogno is the full respect of tradition, in fact its wines are produced with traditional and natural vinification.

The wines that are obtained are alive, true and clean, year by year always different, they respect the characteristics of the vintage, but always with the imprint of Borgogno due to long refinements in Rovere barrel.

Every year about 20000 bottles of the most important vintage of Barolo are set off, followed by an aging period of at least ten years. The obtained treasures acquire extraordinary roundness and balance with multiple shades of perfume;
