Voltumna
The Voltumna project was born from the meeting of four friends who decided, in total respect for nature and its places, to make viticulture in a not particularly historic area for vine cultivation, the Florentine province of Mugello Valdisieve. In this area of 300 m.s.m the climate is mitigated by the Tuscan rugged appennine, the terrain is purely clayey, but especially the vine on which many have bet is the difficult pinot black besides the classic Sangiovese, in its motherland. Voltumna viticulture is practiced with a biodynamic method, where rhythms of nature impose the rhythms of labor, and not vice versa, with a bunch of clusters of grapes fermented with their own yeasts, not filtered, unclarified, sampled and tasted only to be drunk.
