Damoiseau

Damoiseau Distillery

Born in the late nineteenth century on the small island of Marie-Galante, the Bellevue distillery passed to the Damoiseau family in 1942. One of the very first barrels produced disappeared overnight. The theft was interpreted as a good omen about the quality of the rum and became an integral part of the logo. Since then, the production has always been considered of the highest quality. The production boasts 100% first pressing sugar cane, continuous column ditillation and maturation in ex bourbon wooden barrels, where the initial alcoholic strength is faded with sweeter and spicier notes.
