Il Signor Kurtz

Marco Durante is a passionate Umbrian winegrower who cultivates the vineyard in a beautiful hill, in Vallupina at the gates of Lake Trasimeno. And sometimes also in other inaccessible places of the small geography of central Italy. 

Il Signor Kurtz (Mr. Kurtz) comes from the great novel "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad.

Marco has spent more than 25 years exploring wine, as a lover, taster and divulger. His encounter with "natural" wine took place about 20 years ago and he hasn't separated from it since.

Now he dedicates his mind and body only to creating his voice on wine and excellent products.
