Enderle & Moll
The winery was born in Münchweier, a historic wine-growing village on the slopes of the Black Forest in the well-known Baden where Sven Enderle and Florian Moll cultivate 2.5 hectares and rent another 6 from neighboring parcels. In these very few and precious hectares of land so different from each other, composed mostly of limestone, sand and sandstone, vines between 25 and 75 years of age have their roots, considered some of the oldest in Baden (350/550 meters altitude).
The philosophy of the winery is born precisely from this difference in soils that Sven and Florian want to enhance at any cost, a philosophy that can only immediately marry the rigorous principles of biodynamics as a natural consequence of those who think, live and cultivate as only spirits free can do.
After having studied oenology, the two boys immediately begin to make the mess in different domaine of Germany, but it is above all the French experiences with producers of Jura, Languedoc and big names of Burgundy such as Domaine Dugat and Dujac (still today their supplier of exhausted barrels) to influence their way of conceiving wine.
Although their history is quite recent (2007), Enderle & Moll are considered by critics and professionals to be one of the landmarks of Pinot Noir.
