The Cancelliere is the nickname given to people who were a point of reference for the community. The grandfather of Claudio's wife was called 'O Cancelliere' by everyone because, although he had no qualifications, he was passionate about law, an expert in the law and many aspects that for many people in those days represented culture and salvation.
